Sun sings the theme song for the Special Olympics 2007
China (27 September 2007)—With the opening of the 2007 World Summer Special Olympics at hand, the MTV of the specially chosen theme song “We Are Together” is now released.
A number of Web sites reported on the special duo who were chosen to sing for the Special Olympics—Singaporean celebrity Sun Ho and Chinese singer Sun Nan. The MV featured the two stars singing together with the young athletes as they proclaimed the slogan “You Can, I Can” and the theme “The world is a better place because of you and me.”
Sponsored by the Hong Kong Embrace International Music Fund Committee, the MV was helmed by young acclaimed director from Hong Kong, Huang Zhen Zhen. Renowned director Ann Hui also acted as consultant for the whole production.
Much of the latest computer technology was used in the making of the MV, which included snippets of record-breaking moments and determined participants from previous Special Olympics filmed amidst Shanghai’s beautiful landscapes.
